EFTA qualifying

Dear all,

the question has been asked: “what if I can’t make the Open?”

I sympathise with this position.

EFTA had decided to change the qualification procedure to accommodate those that cannot attend the Open.

4 events will comprise qualification of which your best 2 will count. These are:
BFTA Champs - your percentage
Open day 1 - your percentage
Open day 2 - your percentage
BFTA Masters - your percentage

Inclusion of these extra events requires a change to qualification for the piston category.
This will change to percentage of the highest score on the day, whether that is PCP or piston (you must shoot the event with a piston rifle).
